Accentuating ability
Working individually with clients in providing unconditional supervision,
support and choice, we achieve and maintain a highly professional
standard of care in an environment which encourages residents and
employees to flourish.
Beacon Care embraces a philosophy of accentuating ability and residents
are supported in developing self-help and daily living skills to increase
their independence.
Development and Training
Staff
development and training is prioritised as an integral part of the
provision. As well as a commitment to the nationally recognised NVQ
and Investors in People, we regularly commission training in areas
such as Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, First Aid, Sexuality Training
and Awareness, Risk Assessment, Control and Restraint.
Our staff are required to carry out tasks including all aspects of
care and record keeping to the highest specification. We are justifiably
proud of the high morale and low turnover among our staff.
We have built up an excellent reputation as a quality provider of
residential care for adults with a learning disability who may also
display challenging behaviour. Registration reports, which are all
available for review, emphasise the high standard of care, physical
surroundings and professionalism of the home.
We welcome referrals on behalf of adults with a learning disability
who require residential care. The service is needs led and we carefully
consider the viability of referrals in relation to meeting a client’s
needs. |
